Where smiles are born

Treating children with us is not only about caring for baby teeth, but about building a lifelong positive relationship with the dentist. We know that first experiences matter, so our goal is for even the youngest patients to arrive curious rather than anxious.

Why is caring for baby teeth important?

Many parents believe baby teeth do not need attention because they will be replaced. That is a misconception! Healthy baby teeth are essential:

  • Space maintainers: They preserve space for the permanent teeth.
  • Chewing and speech: They are essential for proper sound production and nutrition.
  • Preventing inflammation and decay: A neglected baby tooth can cause pain and damage the developing permanent tooth buds. Decayed baby teeth also create a breeding ground for decay, so permanent teeth are exposed to caries earlier during the mixed dentition stage.

How we work

  1. Playful approach: We explain everything in a child’s language — decay is the work of tooth-gobbling elves, and treatment is a magical clean-up.

  2. Fissure sealing: We apply a painless “shield” to the chewing teeth to help prevent cavities later on.

  3. Patience above all: There is no rush here. We wait until the little patient relaxes and feels safe.

Tip for parents

It is worth visiting us for a “get-to-know” appointment as soon as the first baby teeth appear, so your child’s memory of the dentist is not linked to pain. The first chair ride and water pistol or lightsaber play can shape their relationship with dentistry for life.
